Yesterday at Phila U I saw Tarik. He was walking away with his head hidden beneath his hoodie and music plugged into his ears. Somehow he responded to my call and to my surprise he was interested in meditation. I showed him the Bhagavad Gita and he was very interested and decided to get one. As I was talking to him about the Gita he saw the perfection of yoga and remembered that he had received one at the Peach music festival in Scranton. That memory inspired him to get the Bhagavad gita and he paid right away for it. He said he wants to come to mantra lounge for some meditation.BG 2.2 : Although the two birds are in the same tree, the eating bird is fully engrossed with anxiety and moroseness as the enjoyer of the fruits of the tree. But if in some way or other he turns his face to his friend who is the Lord and knows His glories—at once the suffering bird becomes free from all anxieties."
Feeling stress from the recent world happenings he had figured out his own shell when Lord Caitanya's mercy penetrated his shells.
